Gayle Feyrer Gayle Feyrer has written two historical romances for Avon under the nom de plume Taylor Chase.  These novels explore the turbulent world of Elizabethan England, a world of brash and bawdy manners contrasting with elaborate courtly protocol, of vice and venality contending with a questing romantic spirit.  Certain characters from the two books interweave with each other, emerging to take the main role, or playing a supporting part.   Heart of Night has just been released.  Heart of Deception is now out-of-print.

Under her own name, Gayle Feyrer authored two previous historical romances.  A Libra with Scorpio Rising, Gayle endeavors to merge romance and passion in her novels.  The Prince of Cups, her first romance, takes place in the lush and violent world of Renaissance Italy.  The second, The Thief's Mistress, is set amid the earthy glamour of Robin Hood's Sherwood.  These books were published by Dell, but are currently out-of-print.  Bibliofind and American Book Exchange are excellent sources for hunting down hard-to-find books.  These books have been translated into German and published by Wihelm Heyne Verlag, as Der Prinz der Kelche and Rauber dez Herzens.  Cora has brought out a German translations of Heart of Deception and will soon publish Heart of Night.

Along with her book length fiction, Gayle has numerous small press publications and a fantasy story in Lonnie Barbach’s collection Erotic Interludes.  She has won prizes for her fiction, art, and her chocolate desserts.
